Imperial Sales & Marketing GmbH ("we", "us", or "our") operates the INTVL mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. INTVL is designed with a privacy-first approach — your workout data stays on your device, and we do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you complete the onboarding quiz, the App collects your:

  • Fitness preferences: training goal, workout frequency, and experience level

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage framework (SwiftData). It is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

1.2 Purchase Information

If you subscribe to INTVL Pro, your purchase is processed through the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to validate receipts and manage entitlements. RevenueCat receives:

  • An anonymous app user ID (not linked to your identity)
  • Purchase receipts for subscription validation
  • Subscription status (active, expired, trial)

We do not receive or store your payment details (credit card, Apple ID credentials, etc.). All payment processing is handled by Apple.

1.3 Analytics Data

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the App is used in aggregate. TelemetryDeck collects:

  • Anonymous usage events (e.g., screens viewed, features used)
  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version

TelemetryDeck does not collect personally identifiable information, does not use cookies, and is fully compliant with GDPR. Analytics data cannot be traced back to individual users.

1.4 Diagnostics

Apple may collect crash logs and performance diagnostics on our behalf through standard iOS mechanisms. This data is anonymized and aggregated by Apple before being shared with us.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • App Functionality: Your fitness preferences are used to personalize your workout experience and recommendations within the App.
  • Subscription Management: Purchase data is used to verify your subscription status and provide access to Pro features.
  • Product Improvement: Anonymous analytics help us understand which features are most used and identify areas for improvement.
  • Diagnostics: Crash reports help us fix bugs and improve app stability.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties not listed above.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your workout data, timer configurations, and fitness preferences are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is:

  • Stored locally on your iPhone — not on our servers
  • Protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
  • Not synced to any cloud service
  • Not accessible to us or any third party

The App does not require user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Local Data: All data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App. You can also reset the App's data through your device's Settings.

RevenueCat Data: RevenueCat retains anonymous subscription data in accordance with their privacy policy. You can request deletion of your RevenueCat data by contacting us at the email address below.

Analytics Data: TelemetryDeck data is anonymous and aggregated. It cannot be attributed to individual users and does not require deletion.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data.
  • Right to Restriction: Request restriction of processing.
  • Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
  • Right to Object: Object to processing of your data.

Since INTVL stores data locally on your device and does not maintain user accounts, most of your data is already under your complete control. To exercise any of these rights regarding data held by our third-party services, please contact us.

7. Your Rights Under CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to Know: What personal information is collected, used, and shared.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8. Children's Privacy

INTVL is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Tracking

INTVL does not:

  • Track you across other apps or websites
  • Use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework (because we don't track)
  • Include any advertising SDKs
  • Share data with advertising networks
  • Use cookies or similar tracking technologies

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an App update or in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
